Using Get Shredded
You need to be at least 13 to create an account. Keep your login details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Don't misuse the service — for example by trying to access other people's data, disrupting it, or gaming the XP system with fake workouts.
Not medical advice
Get Shredded is a training log. Suggestions, load notes and programmes are general information based on your logged history, not medical, physiotherapy or nutrition advice. Train within your abilities, use good form, and speak to a qualified professional if you have an injury or health condition.
Your content
Your training data belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service. You can delete it at any time by deleting your account.
Get Shredded Pro
Pro is an optional paid subscription, £5 a month or £50 a year, that renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. Free features stay free.
Free trial: new subscribers may get a free trial (one per person). If you don't cancel before it ends, your subscription starts and you're charged the price shown when you signed up. We remind you before a trial ends.
Founding member offer: for a limited time, the first year of the yearly plan may be offered at a reduced price. It then renews at the normal yearly price unless you cancel.
Where you pay: on the website, payments are handled by Stripe and you can manage or cancel from the Pro page. In the iPhone or Android app, payment is through the App Store or Google Play and managed in your store account, under their terms. Your Pro works everywhere you sign in.
Premium programmes are included with Pro, or can be bought individually on the website as a one-off purchase that's yours to keep for as long as you have an account.
Gift Pro codes are a one-off purchase for a set number of months, work once on any account, and don't expire. Time from a gift or an invite reward is added to any Pro you already have.
Refunds and cancellations: you can cancel a subscription at any time. If something goes wrong, email us and we'll put it right. Purchases through the App Store or Google Play are refunded through them. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.
Game mechanics
XP, levels, streaks and achievements have no monetary value. We may rebalance them, and we may reverse rewards that come from obviously fake or abusive activity.
Availability
We work hard to keep Get Shredded running and your data safe, but the service is provided as-is and may occasionally be unavailable.
Changes
We may update these terms; if the changes are significant we'll let you know in the app.
